Even though Seattle is known for its rain and clouds, when the sun does come out, folks know how to do it right here. There are plenty of opportunities to get the kids into some water. Since the temperatures were in the upper 80's we took advantage of these opportunities. Ashley's girlfriends, Ruby (5) and Ava (3) invited Ashley, mommy & Caitlyn over for some fun backyard play with the 'never-old,' classic, sprinkler. I have never heard girls giggle and squeal so much! Caitlyn also had fun playing with her friend, Francesca (9 mo.) - they worked on a puzzle together ;)
Bremerton has a great fountain park that provides shallow wadding pools for kiddos. Josh & I brought the girls there after work for a picnic dinner and some cool off time from the 90 degree weather. Even Caitlyn got in on the action.
