A Growing Girl

Caitlyn is now 3 weeks old and becoming increasingly
aware of the world around her. She has a bit more control
of her eyes and she can focus on objects better without going
cross-eyed. She has an amazingly strong neck and she seems
to love being on her tummy and arching her head all the way
back. She also squirms & moves around a lot with her legs
and arms. So much so she has flipped herself over already,
so we have to keep a sharp eye on her.

We took her to her 2 week doctor's appointment and
she weighed 9# 3oz. That is from the 7#13oz she weighed
just the week before. She also grew a 1/2 inch in length.

Ashley continues to adore her baby sister and
be the life of the party. She started a "preschool"
class this week where she plays with peers her age
for an hour and 1/2 on Thursdays. They made kites
this week and she was super proud to bring it home
to show us how it worked.
