Caitlyn Noel is 9 Months!

Caitlyn in stark contrast to Ashley tends to be rather serious.  It's actually pretty difficult to get that girl to smile or laugh, unless you're Ashley, then she'll laugh hysterically.  Every now and then we can get her to crack a smile at Mommy or Daddy.

She will tell you how it is though.  She is learning the rules of engagement concerning Ashley and toys.  Ashley has just about given up trying to take them from Caitlyn because Caitlyn will give her some words if she does.

Cait is able to get to objects that she finds interesting by a range of movements.  She'll roll, wiggle, scrunch, and kick her way until the prized possession is in her mouth.  She often will get into a crawl position, but her arms give way and she ends up stuck on her tummy, which altogether she doesn't mind unless it keeps her from getting to where she wants.  She loves to stand and hold things as mentioned before, except now she is boldly removing one hand at a time to survey the room around her.  When we hold her hands while she stands, she has lets go and can actually stand on her own for 30 seconds or so.  She has great balance.

She has her Daddy's eyes and expressions.  She is a precious joy to us.
