Caitlyn's the little mover and shaker lately. She is just not content at all to stay on her behind, she has to be up standing. And not with Mommy's help, she is very clear about wanting to hold on and stand up on her own!
She will stand holding onto her crib bars for quite a while, to where I just kind of let her do her thing. She can lower herself down and ends up on her bottom. She isn't quite pulling herself up on her own yet, but man she is close. The other day I had her in the laundry basket in front of a mirror and she figured out how to lift herself up enough to peek over the side at herself in the mirror to play peek-a-boo.
Not only with standing, but getting into the crawl position as well. She can easily move from sitting to on her hands and knees where she does a little boogie swaying back and forth and shaking her head up and down. We are all kind of thinking that she will most likely be crawling by Christmas. Time to be vigilant about childproofing again!! What a crazy, busy race it is when a child becomes mobile!
