It's been a while! - Ashley is 4 months!

Sorry it has been so long since my last post!  Ashley has grown and changed so much since then.  She does all kinds of new things.  She loves standing now and she has very sturdy strong legs.  She also has very good balance.  She loves squealing and talking, or singing along with mommy.  She is very good with her hands and now wants to reach out and touch everything she sees.  She had her first cold shortly after my last post, but it wasn't too bad.  We just got her into some steam every now and then to keep her breathing clear.  She was back in good shape before no time, but she managed to pass along her cold to us.  She has been known to be found in a different position in the morning as to when we put her down at night.  For example her head ends up where her feet were to begin with which to us means she is learning to squiggle around.  She also, while seated in her car seat likes to bring herself forward using her stomach muscles so we need to keep our eye on her and keep her strapped into things now a days.  When she is on her tummy she can completely lift her head and arch her back doing a push-up to see everything.  No turning over on her own quite yet though we imagine that may not be far from now.  She loves being outside or in stores or anywhere besides our house.  Now that she knows the world is bigger she wants to see it.  She loves studying people and often gives big smiles to those she meets.  She is just so precious and our hearts get bigger for her every day.  She had her first trip to the beach in Monterey and to the aquarium which she just loved.  She has certainly out grown a lot of her clothes.  We'll know how much bigger she's gotten after we bring her to the drs next week for her next round of vaccinations.
